How to Play

The ultimate table top card battle game. Only one can ascend.

The Basics

Deck Structure

The prototype decks consists of 40 cards as follows:
8 Evolution 1 Angels → 8 cards
2 Evolution 2 Angels → 8 cards
2 Evolution 3 Angels → 12 cards
12 Spell/Weapon Cards → 12 cards

Energy System

- Gain +3 energy per turn
- Energy is locked to angels and may not be moved. Except through spell cards.
- Evolved cards require more energy but are more powerful.
- Energy is lost on death of the angel.

Win Condition

Collect 12 enemy souls or destroy all enemy angels on the battlefield and bench.

Game Setup

Two players face each other in classic battle card game style.

Board Zones

Battlefield – Where angels fight.
Bench – Where angels wait before entering battle.
Hand – Cards ready to be played.
Deck – Your draw pile.
Graveyard – Where destroyed cards go.

Game Start

- Draw 7 cards from deck.
- Place 1 Angel on battlefield.
- Optionally place angels on the bench.

Turn Structure

AngelClash is played in a 1v1 format, with players alternating turns.
Each turn has three phases:

During Turn

- Draw 3 energy & assign to angels on battlefield or bench
- Play cards from your hand onto battlefield or bench
- Attack with angels on battlefield
- Evolve an angel on battlefield or bench (1 step per turn per angel)
- Retreat an angel to the bench
- Use ability cards

End Turn

- End turn by drawing 2 cards from deck
