But everything changed after the Fracture of Light — a celestial cataclysm that shattered the heavens.
Betrayal? Prophecy? Misused power? No one agrees. The result was the same:
All four houses were cast out. Stripped of grace, warped by the mortal and abyssal realms they fell into, these once-radiant beings became something new — something dangerous.
Centuries later, a fragment of Heaven's power — the Divine Core —resurfaces.
It speaks to all four factions: “One race alone may rise again. Only through conquest shall Heaven open."
